General Surgery Nurses – United Kingdom

Lion recruitment are pleased to offer positions for General Surgery Nurses who are looking for substantive appointments in the UK.

Our clients are spread throughout the United Kingdom and have instructed us to search for General Surgery Nurses with a strong exposure to orthopeadics looking to develop their careers within the British Healthcare.

Responsibilities
• Assess patients’ health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
• Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals’ health and wellbeing needs
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
• Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
• Promotes best practice in health and safety and security
• Assist in maintaining and developing services
• Contribute to quality improvement
• Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights


Requirements
• NMC Registration
• Min. 2 year’s post registration experience preferably within a general surgery, orthopaedic exposure will be advantageous
• A good communicator with a high command of English
• Empathy for vulnerable and sick patients
• Initiative and ownership
• Flexible and adaptable
• Team working


Salary and Benefits
• Salary ranges between £ 22 000 – 26 000 (depends on qualifications and experience)
• These appointments bring a minimum 12-month contract with possible extension thereafter
